EXPEDITION THAILAND

"The Hill Tribes Expedition takes place in the sub-tropical bamboo forests of northern Thailand (See Gallery). This region is home to a variety of indigenous peoples of Sino-Tibetan origin, generically know as “the hill tribes” Whilst here you will be immersed into this vibrant and fascinating melting pot of cultures and experience first hand the generosity and hospitality of indigenous peoples.

You will be led by Bushcraft Expedition staff and local guides who will teach you the fundamental skills and knowledge of the local flora and fauna that has enabled these tribes to make this their home. You will be taught the amazing variety of uses they have for the many species of bamboo that are indigenous to these forests, from construction to rafting, trapping to storage, cordage to cooking.
